Our Softball leson.

This morning room 7 had softball but Dalaney and I missed out because we didn't bring our P.E gear. We had to watched them practice. For warm up Room 7 played a warm up game called triangle tag. Room 7 practice throwing overhand and underhand. They also learnt the basic skills of softball.  I was a back stopper and then Mrs Tui caught me because I wasn’t aloud.  After that Stephanie, our new softball coach called room 7 to talk about some more basic skills.

Weaving a mat

In room7, we followed a procedural writing on how to weave a pacific mat.  We are planning to use them as a table mat so we can eat on it.  We folded it and wrote word related to the virtue kindness.  We then laminated our work of art and then we shared it with each other.

On Friday 23 of May I went to my interview at Sacred Heart. I got interview by Brother Jarrod. Brother Jarrod ask me some questions about Sport, Reading and Maths. He asked my dad some questions about my Health. He talk about how the school works. Then Brother took my dad to Mrs Jarrod to tell him about the fees. While my dad was talking to Mrs Jarrod I waited outside. After that I went to school.

Gospel for Today.

Today, the gospel was about how Jesus talked to his disciples and he said that he was the way, the truth and the light. He told them that later on, he will go back to heaven and he will prepare a place in heaven for them later on. Then after he has finished his job,he will come back to earth and take the disciples back to heaven.

Writing,Maths Goals

For Term 2, my Writing Goal is to improve with my capital letters, full stops and organization.

My Special Place

A special place is somewhere you can go to when we just need a time to think.  My special place is the church.

I think that the church is a special place because it is a quiet place where I can go to, I can sit or kneel and just communicate with my mum. Every time I go into the church I feel her presents.

SACRED HEART COLLEGE

Sacred Heart is the best school for many reasons.  

First,  I know a lot of boys that went to Sacred and they are very successful in their careers. They are boys from St. Pius X Parish.  I always look up to these boys.  They are great role models for me.

Secondly,  my brother went to Sacred Heart and he finished last year.  He has become a very fine man.  He supported me and the family.  I know he learnt this from Sacred Heart.  I wanted to go there too and  be able to become a person like him.

But the most important reason is that I wanted to continue learning at a Catholic all boys school. My faith is important for me and my family.  

I hope I can make it to Sacred Heart College.
